This facility is an adult male correctional institution operating across minimum to maximum security levels in Aberdeen, Washington. Mental health services are delivered within the Health Services unit, with assigned caseloads organized according to facility needs. The facility maintains established clinical protocols suited to a corrections-based mental health care environment.

Aberdeen is situated in Grays Harbor County on the southern edge of the Olympic Peninsula, at the convergence of the Wishkah and Chehalis Rivers. The area offers outdoor recreation including hiking, kayaking, birdwatching, and beachcombing, with the Weatherwax Coastal Rainforest accessible within 15 miles. The clinician will deliver mental health services to an adult incarcerated population within the facility's Health Services unit, operating on a full-time day shift schedule. Responsibilities include conducting mental health assessments (MHAs) and mental health quality assessments (MQAs), providing brief individual therapy sessions, and facilitating limited group therapy. The clinician will manage a caseload of approximately 4-5 patients per day and serve as a mental health consultant and resource to correctional and facility staff. Required documentation and administrative responsibilities must be completed in accordance with facility protocols, with additional mental health-related duties assigned as needed.
