- 8hr rounding and 24hr on call shifts
- 10 - 12 patients per day
- Inpatient setting -- med/surg ICU
- Pulm consults and ICU call coverage
- Vent management, central lines, and intubations required
- Adults only -- inpatient practice
- Ongoing coverage need
- Rarely called in overnight
- Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
