Job Description
Medical Center seeking BC/BE Interventional Pulmonology Physicians
• No critical care all required – physician would perform procedures in hospital and see patients in clinic setting
• Will perform navigational bronchoscopies with biopsy, thoracoscopy and EBUS
• Group will open lung nodule clinic to follow up on these patients
• 4 physicians currently – one is sleep certified
• 1 NP to assist with hospital rounds – looking to add an additional one soon
• 24 bed ICU, hospitalists in house 24/7
• E ICU for overnight and weekend patient coverage
• Work out of one hospital, 217 beds
• See patients from 12 surrounding counties
• 10-year-old hospital, full spectrum of specialties, full time hospitalists in house
• Very busy oncologists nearby with great need for lung nodule patient appointments
• Great collaborative and collegial physicians and administrative team
