Radiation Oncology Position - Central Michigan
Job Description
Seeking a Radiation Oncology Physician
--Traditional Monday through Friday with some flexibility
--Call 1:5 covering multiple sites
--Open to both practicing physicians and recent/new grads.
--Willing to provide mentorship to new grads.
--This is a solo position but would be part of a robust radiation oncology team
--The department has one linear accelerator: Varian TrueBeam, with full complement of additional technology to be able to provide evidence-based state of the art care.
--EPIC EMR.
--Annual new patients are increasing year over year and currently sit at around 300. --Treatments range from 15-25 per day with an average day being 20.
--Primary diagnoses of these patients are breast, prostate and lung.
--On average 3-5 new consults and 9-12 follow up clinic patients weekly with the opportunity for added capacity.
