Overview
(Login for Information) is seeking a qualified Vascular Interventional Radiologic Technologist to support Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. This position is based in the Operating Room and supports complex vascular, endovascular, and interventional procedures using advanced imaging and fluoroscopic technology. This is a mission-essential role supporting active-duty service members and their families.
Duties / Key Responsibilities
- Operate and manage fluoroscopic and digital imaging equipment in the operating room
- Assist physicians with vascular and endovascular procedures, including angiography, angioplasty, stenting, and related interventions
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields, instruments, and procedural setup
- Support image-guided procedures and advanced imaging reconstruction
- Monitor patient condition and ensure safety during procedures
- Administer medications under physician supervision
- Maintain compliance with Joint Commission standards and military healthcare protocols
- Perform quality assurance and documentation of imaging and procedures
- Provide training to clinical staff on imaging equipment and procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including surgery, anesthesia, and radiology
- May be required to support areas outside the operating room as needed
Compensation:
• Locum Tenens:
$70.00-$78.00 hourly
