Shift Details
-- 24-hour call
-- Average call back hours: 2 hours per day
-- Weekend coverage as needed
Requirements
-- Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency in Neurosurgery, Neurology, or Neuroradiology
-- Fellowship required
-- Connecticut license in hand at time of submission (no exceptions)
-- DEA
-- CSR
-- BLS, ACLS
Required Procedures / Skills
-- Inpatient and ED consults on neurovascular patients
-- Stroke thrombectomy
-- Aneurysm embolization
-- Diagnostic DCA
-- Carotid stenting
-- Head and neck embolization for trauma
Assignment Details
-- 100% inpatient/ED coverage, inpatient consults, and solo 24/7 call coverage
-- Practice setting: Inpatient/Hospital-Based
-- Patient population: Adult and Geriatric
-- Average 5-10 patients per day
-- Level I trauma facility
-- Thrombectomy-capable stroke center
-- EMR: Epic
