Cardiothoracic Surgeon - Sarasota, FL
Hospital is seeking a BE/BC cardiothoracic surgeon to join the Medical Group. Fellows and practicing physicians are encouraged to apply. Anticipated call coverage is 1:2. Office space is readily available less than a block from the hospital entrance. Hospital has the DaVinci Robot with necessary Edwards Life Science Tools for Robotic Valve Surgery. Cardiac Surgery has its own dedicated rooms, anesthesia and OR team, consisting of three RNs, two scrub techs, and two anesthesia techs.
The hospital provides level II open heart surgery services and performs 250 hearts per year.
