Shift Details
-- Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus In-House Call
-- Call coverage with OR coverage during the week and weekend
-- Call hours: 24 Hours
-- Clinic: Tuesday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
-- Approximately 8 - 10 clinic patients per day
-- Call response time required: 20 minutes
-- Call ratio: 1:4
-- Phone consults: 5 per night

Requirements
-- Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
-- Missouri license or IMLC
-- BLS, ACLS
-- 1-2 years of experience

Required Procedures / Skills
-- Vein harvesting

Assignment Details
-- Providers requested: 2
-- Practice setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
-- Hospital/surgery center privileges required
-- Temporary privileges available
-- EMR: Epic
-- Patients per shift: 15
-- Rounding on assigned and unassigned patients
-- Support staff: 2 RNs, 1 MA
-- Coverage needs include STEMI Call/Cath Lab coverage
-- Main focus will be surgery and OR call coverage
-- PA/NP completes H&P but does not admit patients
-- Chest tube experience, and managing/caring for central, arterial, and PICC lines are not required but commonly seen
-- 1-2 years of experience is required
-- Coverage dates currently identified include multiple STEMI Call/Cath Lab shifts between September and December
-- Practice is a pure cardiothoracic surgery practice
-- Overnight call, patient call, OR help, and weekend help required
