- Rotating coverage blocks -- 7 am start times across multiple shifts
- Hospital rounds on CTS patients -- IP and OP consults
- OR coverage for cardiac surgery and some thoracic trauma
- Roughly 150 heart cases per year
- ECMO cannulation, CABG, and vein harvest required
- Thoracic surgery capability required
- Board certification required
- Hospital privileges required
- Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
