Shift Details
-- 24-hour in-house call coverage
-- Required call response time: 30 minutes
Requirements
-- Board Certified or Board Eligible
-- Active Arizona license or IMLC
-- ACLS required
-- ATLS required
Required Procedures / Skills
-- General Surgery
-- Adult patients
-- Trauma
-- Laparoscopic surgery
-- Appendectomy
-- Cholecystectomy
Assignment Details
-- Average of 5 patients per shift
-- 30-bed facility
-- Admissions and rounding required
-- Practice setting: Outpatient
-- Trauma Level III facility
-- Support staff includes 9 MAs and 2 PA/NPs
-- Supervision of advanced practice providers required
-- Average of 3 phone consults, 5 patients seen, and 2 admissions per shift
