General Surgery 24-Hour Call Coverage Locums Job in SW Florida

Jackson and Coker is working with a west coast Florida facility that needs General Surgery 24-hour call coverage starting this ASAP and ongoing through 2027.  The facility is seeking to fill up to 7 days per month of call coverage each month in 3-4 day increments. The client is seeking candidates with as clean of files possible (no malpratice claims or settlements within the last 10 years) and committed candidates that can quickly complete the application & who have responsive affiliations + references. Dates of coverage needed: 
Friday, October 30 at 7AM - Monday, November 2 at 7AM

EMERGENCY PRIVS REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a clean background (no history of malpractice or other red flags within the last 10 years)
- Must have updated case logs
- Must have 

Details/Requirements for Assignment #117302:
-- Active Florida license + current DEA required
-- Seeking currently Board Certified General Surgeons with experience in Acute Care Surgery / up to level 3 trauma (Surgical Critical Care Cert is not required)
-- Bread & Butter General Surgery to include up to level 3 trauma 
-- Scopes are preferred, however, not required 
-- Robotic training/experience is strongly preferred (please distinguish if you do open, robotics, both)
-- Busy service line with up to 30 patients on service at a time 
-- Can anticipate 10-15 ED admissions per day + 3-4 procedures/day
-- Will work alongside of two 2nd year residents that are covering 24/7 call coverage every day
-- Will have a designated APP in house every day from 7A-4P
-- Will need to do daily patient rounding, emergent procedures + new consults
-- Main facility is a 475+ bed full service hospital, not a designated trauma center (level 1 located in town) but will receive up to level trauma
-- Facility is a transfer center in the area for several affiliated facilities
-- Epic EMR
