- Shift: 7am start -- multiple holiday and extended coverage blocks
- 10 - 15 beds managed in department
- Inpatient hospital setting
- Supported by 2 NPs -- NP handles 50 clinic patients weekly
- High call volume required
- Procedures: hernia, colorectal, bariatric, scopes, appendix, gallbladder
- Additional skills: bowel resection, emergency general surgery, I&D, wound care
- Hospital privileges required
- We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
