This 36-bed acute care hospital operates as a Level III Trauma Center, providing surgical and medical services to the patient population served. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and the infrastructure necessary to support general surgery coverage across inpatient and outpatient settings on an on-site basis. Clinical operations are structured to ensure quality surgical care delivery throughout each assigned coverage period.

The area offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor spaces, including scenic parks, trails, and lake access. Cultural attractions include the Air Zoo Aerospace and Science Center, which features historic aircraft, interactive exhibits, and flight simulators, alongside family-oriented venues such as Airway Fun Center. Clinicians will provide general surgery coverage across inpatient and outpatient settings on a day shift basis at an on-site facility, seeing an average of 36 patients per day. Primary responsibilities include performing general surgery procedures and maintaining availability for both scheduled and emergent surgical needs throughout each assigned coverage period. Support staff on site includes ED RNs and one APP to assist clinicians during all designated shifts. Board certification in General Surgery is required for this assignment.
