This inpatient facility maintains established clinical protocols and the resources necessary to support call-based general surgery coverage on an on-site basis. The facility is structured to deliver quality surgical care for the patient population served. Clinical operations are configured to support locum tenens coverage across the general surgery service line.

The assignment is located in a state that offers clinicians access to a range of regional attractions and outdoor recreation opportunities. Clinicians will provide general surgery call coverage on 24-hour shifts at an on-site inpatient facility, with coverage needed as soon as possible on an ongoing basis. Primary responsibilities include performing general surgery procedures and maintaining continuous availability for both scheduled and emergent surgical needs throughout each assigned call period. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and board certification in General Surgery is not required for this locum tenens engagement.
