General Surgery Locums Job in Oklahoma | Starts October 2026
Current Open Shifts: 10/15/26 7am - 10/19/26 7am
-- Solo general surgeon coverage
-- Average 2–3 patient calls from the ED per day; some may result in surgeries
-- Common procedures: exploratory laparotomy, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, bowel obstruction, I&D, port placements
-- Laparoscopic and robotic capabilities available
-- No subspecialty cases required
-- Endoscopy (EGD, colonoscopy) not required
-- Trauma Level III
-- Full support staff
-- Subspecialty support: Urology, Orthopedics, Pain Management
-- EMR: Epic
Shift Description:
-- 24-hour call coverage
-- Response time: 30 minutes
Requirements:
-- Board Certified in General Surgery
-- Active Oklahoma license Required to Apply due to tight turnaround
-- Clean background
