This regional medical center maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support on-site inpatient neurosurgical call coverage. The facility provides a structured environment for coordinated patient care delivery throughout all assigned coverage periods. Resources are in place to facilitate quality neurosurgical services for an adult patient population.

The neurosurgeon will provide 24-hour call coverage for inpatient neurological surgery services on an on-site basis, with coverage required every weekend. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and clinicians must maintain continuous on-site availability for surgical interventions throughout all designated coverage periods. A practice of 6 neurosurgeons is in place to support coordinated patient care delivery across all assigned periods. Board certification in neurological surgery is required for all clinicians considered for this role.
