Neurosurgery 24-Hour Call Coverage | Seeking up to 10 Days per Month of General Neurosurgery Coverage | ASAP November Start
Jackson and Coker is partnered with a facility in central Mississippi that is seeking approximately 10 days per month of Neurosurgery 24-hour call coverage starting immediately and ongoing.
Dates of Coverage: Seeking up to 10 days of call coverage per month starting in November & ongoing until a 3rd Neurosurgeon is hired.
Details/Requirements for Assignment #117594:
-- Active Mississippi license required or active IMLC
-- As clean of a background as possible to qualify for temporary/emergency privileges
-- Board Certification or true Eligibility required
-- Prefer fellowship trained candidates
-- Coverage is 7AM-7AM each day, will be expected to complete daily patient rounding, ED consults/follow ups, perform emergent cases, etc.
-- Volume is medium to lower - can anticipate working approximately 4 hours/day in the hospital
-- Facility has 24/7 Anesthesia support (MD + CRNA)
-- Average 3-10 consults/day
-- Facility details: 400+ bed facility, designated trauma facility, Epic EMR
