This facility operates as a Level 3 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke center, maintaining the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support on-site inpatient neurosurgical call coverage. The facility is supported by full-time Neuroendovascular coverage, full-time Neurohospitalists, and full-time Intensivist coverage to facilitate coordinated patient care delivery throughout all assigned coverage periods.

The neurosurgeon will provide 24-hour call coverage for inpatient neurological surgery services on an on-site basis, with shifts structured from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM. This assignment serves as temporary backfill for a single surgeon whose practice was weighted toward cranial procedures over spine, with a surgical case volume of approximately 15 cases per month inclusive of on-call responsibilities. The facility operates as a Level 3 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke center, with full-time Neuroendovascular coverage, full-time Neurohospitalists, and full-time Intensivist coverage in place to support coordinated patient care. Board certification in neurological surgery and prescriptive authority are required for all clinicians considered for this role.
