Job Description

If you're a Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon with Fellowship Training in Sports Medicine, this is your chance to become the go-to Sports Medicine Surgeon for a Kansas community within easy driving distance of Kansas City. With established relationships across multiple colleges and several area high schools, you'll have the opportunity to build and grow a thriving sports medicine program with an established team behind you.

Organization Details
  • Join a hospital-based orthopedic and sports medicine team of one other Orthopedic Surgeon, a Podiatrist, and 3 Physician Assistants
  • Work hand-in-hand with athletic trainers, physical therapists, primary care providers, and specialty teams
  • Serve as the sports medicine resource for multiple collegiate athletic programs and several local high schools
  • Opportunity to expand sports medicine services and establish yourself as the regional leader in athlete care

    Position Details
  • $850K to $1M compensation range plus a comprehensive benefits package
  • Full-time blend of outpatient clinic and surgery with a strong focus on sports medicine
  • Treat a wide range of acute and chronic sports injuries in athletes of all ages
  • Build relationships with coaches, athletic trainers, student-athletes, and families throughout the region
  • Shared, remote orthopedic call rotation: no need to be onsite when on call
  • Mentorship and support built in from day one
