Job Description
(Login for Information) is assisting a leading, not-for-profit health system in Owensboro, Kentucky, with the recruitment of a BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon to join an established, growing practice at a Level III Trauma Center. Due to increasing patient demand and community need, the group is seeking a general orthopedic surgeon or a fellowship-trained joint specialist. New graduates and experienced surgeons are welcome to apply!
Practice Highlights
- Join an established team of 4 physicians and 5 PAs
- Competitive three-year guaranteed compensation plus RVU productivity bonus potential
- $50,000 upfront bonus
- Immediate opportunity to generate volume with an established referral base and growing clinic demand
- 1:4 call schedule, with plans to expand coverage as the group grows
- Typically a four-day clinic schedule with one OR day and increasing OR block time as your practice develops
- Athletic sideline coverage for local collegiate and high school programs, with training room support as needed through the sports medicine program
- Teaching opportunities with an on-site Family Medicine Residency Program affiliated with the University of Louisville
