- Call only -- 24-hour call shifts with 20-minute response time
- 1 - 2 patients seen per call shift
- Hospital setting
- Arthroscopy and total joint replacement skills required
- Fractures, sports injuries, and general ortho cases -- no spine
- Leave coverage
- Beeper call -- surgeon responds only when ED requests a consult
- We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
- We arrange complimentary housing and travel and comprehensive malpractice coverage
