Orthopedic Upper Extremity Surgeon Locums Job | Seeking Coverage in New Mexico Starting Immediately + Ongoing

Jackson and Coker is partnered with a facility in northern New Mexico that needs an upper extremity surgeon (to include hand) starting ASAP + ongoing.

Coverage Need + Schedule:
* Seeking coverage starting ASAP (1 physician is out on FMLA currently & another is reducing work starting in Jan) 
* Option to work four 10 hour shifts/week OR to work Monday - Friday from 8A-5p
* Will spend weekdays working in the clinic, hospital and/or OR (NOT a pure clinic opportunity)
* Will take office call only - facility has 24/7 trauma call coverage so will not be covering the ED

Details for Assignment #117793:
-- Open to candidates that will need an NM license (will be required to have one for assignment) as well as NM DEA+CSR
-- Active Orthopedic Surgery Board Certification required
-- Ideal candidates are comfortable, skilled & have active case logs in upper extremity & hand surgery cases 
-- Will work alongside of a robust, collaborative full service orthopedic surgery team (including trauma, general, total joint, sports med, etc.) 
-- Hospital & clinic are attached/on the same campus 
-- Can anticipate seeing an average of 25-30 PPD 
-- Specific surgery/OR schedule hasn't been determined yet, will have block time  
-- Facility details: 150+ bed facility, Epic EMR, level III trauma designation, 1 hour drive to Albuquerque
