Orthopedic Surgery Locums Job in Washington | 24-Hour Call | Beginning September 25 - Ongoing | Assignment #116305
Coverage Details
-- September 25 (7a) – October 1 (7a)
-- October 22 (7a) – October 26 (7a)
-- December 23 (7a) – December 28 (7a)
-- February 22 (7a) – March 1 (7a)
-- Ongoing coverage available up to 2 weeks per month
-- Assignment duration: 6–9 months
Shift Description
-- 24-hour call coverage, 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
-- ER coverage with dedicated PA support
-- Three outpatient clinic mornings per week, Monday–Friday (days to be determined)
-- Average callback hours: 7.4 hours weekdays; 7.8 hours weekends
Requirements
-- Board Certified
-- Fellowship-trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon
-- Washington license - Highly Preferred, or IMLC with LOQ
-- BLS
-- DEA
-- Must have 5 years of Level II Trauma experience
-- Clean malpractice history - Highly Preferred
-- Orthopedic surgeons with trauma experience who do not have fellowship training may be considered if credentialing requirements are met
Required Procedures / Skills
-- Full spectrum of orthopedic cases excluding complex pelvic cases
Assignment Details
-- Level II Trauma Center
-- Hospital and outpatient clinic setting
-- Dedicated hospital support and MA support in outpatient clinic
-- Admissions/patients per day: 0–7
-- Credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days
-- EMR: EPIC
