This facility requires locum tenens call coverage to supplement the existing trauma surgery team and ensure continuity of services. The facility provides trauma, ICU, and emergency general surgery services, and maintains established clinical protocols and dedicated staffing to support high-acuity surgical care. On-site APP support, nursing staff, and tech support are available to facilitate coordinated patient care delivery throughout each assigned coverage period.

The South Carolina Lowcountry is a coastal region known for its history, natural landscapes, and cultural offerings. The area features museums, plantations, waterways, and outdoor recreation opportunities, alongside a range of community events including craft markets, seafood festivals, and leadership forums. New dining and retail establishments continue to open across the region, reflecting ongoing growth in the local economy.

The trauma surgeon will provide 24-hour call coverage on an inpatient, on-site basis, with a schedule of 10-15 call shifts per month. Clinical responsibilities include trauma surgery, ICU coverage, and emergency general surgery (EGS) case management. Clinicians must maintain on-site availability throughout each assigned coverage period to respond to trauma activations and surgical cases. APP support, nursing staff, and tech support are available to assist with clinical operations during each coverage period.
