Coverage Details
-- October 16, 2026 – January 3, 2027
-- Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days
Shift Details
-- 24 hour call coverage, 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM
-- Clinic coverage 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, 2-3 days per week
-- 3 weeks per month of locums coverage
-- Weekend coverage required
Requirements
-- Board Certified in Vascular Surgery
-- Active Arizona license or IMLC with LOQ in hand
-- Clean malpractice/background history
-- Active ACLS & DEA - Highly Preferred
Required Procedures / Skills
-- Angiograms (upper extremity, lower extremity, renal)
-- AV fistulogram
-- Venogram (upper extremity, lower extremity, renal)
-- AV fistula revision
-- AV fistula banding
-- Basilic vein transposition
-- Bypass procedures (aortobifiliac, axillofemoral, femoral, fem-pop)
-- Carotid endarterectomy (CEA)
-- Femoral endarterectomy (FEA)
-- Radio frequency ablation (RFA)
-- Hybrid cases
-- EVAR (Endovascular Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair)
-- TCAR (Transcarotid Artery Revascularization)
-- TEVAR (Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Aneurysm Repair)
Assignment Details
-- Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient, Emergency Room, Clinic, Call
-- EMR: Cerner
-- Support Staff: MA
-- Patient Population: Adult, Geriatric
-- Clinic coverage is 2-3 days per week
-- 14-20 patients seen per day in clinic
-- Ongoing need until filled with an internal physician
