Locum Vascular Surgery Position - Minneapolis, MN area
Job Description
Hospital is seeking Locum BC/BE Vascular Surgeon to provide coverage start December 1, 2026
-- Ongoing assignment
-- 24-hour beeper call with inpatient rounding and consults
-- Possibility of minimal clinic coverage for surgical referrals and postoperative visits over time
-- Call Ratio: prefer stretches of coverage if possible
-- Seeking 3-4 providers for enough to cover 24/7/365.
-- 95%+ inpatient; adult and geriatric patients
-- Level I Trauma Center; primary function is trauma coverage
-- Average 1–2 consults per week; 1–2 urgent/emergent cases per week; 3–5 total cases per week
-- Must have relevant experience for emergent surgeries including vascular injury from penetrating trauma and ruptured aortic aneurysm repair
-- Callback anticipated 1–2 times per week
-- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required
-- BC or BE within 5 years of residency required
-- EMR: Epic (experience preferred)
-- Active Minnesota license preferred
