Vascular Surgery Locums Job in Tennessee | 24-Hour Call | October and November 2026 Plus TBD Ongoing Coverage | Assignment #117144

Coverage Details
-- October 9 – October 11
-- October 23 – October 25
-- November 25 – November 29
-- Ongoing need TBD, approximately 10 days per month
-- Emergency privileges available

Shift Details
-- 24-hour call (7am - 7am)
-- 1 in 4 weekends
-- Weekend coverage required

Requirements
-- Board Certified or Board Eligible
-- Tennessee license
-- BLS (AHA)
-- DEA
-- Clean malpractice history
-- Availability at time of name clear

Required Procedures / Skills
-- Conduct complex open surgeries such as bypasses or aneurysm repairs
-- Perform minimally invasive procedures including angioplasty, stenting, and other endovascular repairs

Assignment Details
-- Inpatient setting
-- Diagnosis and treatment of vascular conditions affecting arteries, veins, and lymphatic system
-- Prescribe medications, diet changes, and exercise plans
-- Perform minimally invasive vascular procedures
-- Conduct complex open vascular surgeries
-- Manage chronic vascular diseases and provide long-term patient care
-- Respond to emergency situations appropriately
-- Promote healthy lifestyle habits through patient education and counseling
-- Attend meetings as requested
-- Perform other duties as assigned
-- EMR: Epic
-- Support staff: APPs take first call
-- Admissions per day: 5-6
-- Patients per day: 15-20 (outpatient and inpatient)
-- Types of cases include work with cardio, bulging veins, leg swelling, and related vascular conditions
