(Login for Information), a large multi-specialty staff model HMO, is seeking an APRN / PA to float between six (6) EHCC locations.  This position is three 12-hour shifts / 36 hours weekly, with a rotating 4-hour shift on Saturday. The APRN shall provide necessary and appropriate urgent care services, within the scope of their training and experience. Responsibilities and expectations to include the following:

• Provides care to patients across all age groups
• Ability to treat Urgent Care presentations: (Chest Pain, Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, etc.)
• Foreign body removal
• Laceration repair, Suturing skills
• Abscess I & D
• Diagnose, treat, & splint fractures
• DOT Certification required
• Professional examination experience (i.e. Firefighter’s physical, etc.) preferred
• Epic EMR experience a plus
• Worker’s Comp Experience preferred

Qualifications

• APRN license
• DEA license
• Minimum 3 years’ post licensing experience, working independently, in family medicine, urgent care clinics or a combination

• Graduate of an accredited program, APRN, NP, or FNP program
