Job Description
Opening for FT Urgent Care Physician
--Hospital owned clinic
--Clinic hours are Mon-Fri 8a-8p and Sat/Sun 9a-5p
--3-4 shifts/week for full time, schedule flexible
--Avg 30-40 patients/day on 12 hour shifts
--Nurse support
--Clinics are fully staffed
--Cerner EMR with Dragon dictation and Ambient AI
--On-site laboratory and imaging services
Wide range of acute illnesses and minor injuries, including:
--Upper respiratory infections, flu, COVID, strep, and ear infections
--Lacerations, burns, sprains, strains, and minor fractures
--Urinary tract infections and skin conditions
--Allergic reactions and other same-day concerns
--Occupational health and sports physicals
Common in-office procedures such as:
--Laceration repair
--Incision and drainage
--Splinting and wound care
--Foreign body removal
--Basic orthopedic management
