The facility operates as an on-site urgent care clinic providing walk-in services to patients of all ages across a range of acute and non-emergent conditions. The clinic maintains established clinical protocols to support consistent and quality-focused care delivery throughout each assigned coverage period. Scheduling follows a structured rotation designed to maintain adequate clinical coverage across all shifts.

Wyoming offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor and recreational activities suited to varied interests. The state provides opportunities for hiking, swimming, rafting, and wildlife viewing, alongside historical sites that offer accessible trails and educational experiences. Winter activities including snowmobile tours and sleigh rides are available in certain regions, extending the range of year-round options for clinicians during time away from the assignment.

Clinicians will provide urgent care services during day shifts at an on-site clinic, working 12-hour shifts 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts 2 days per week, and one 8-hour weekend shift. Clinical responsibilities encompass the evaluation and treatment of acute illnesses and injuries across all age groups. The expected patient volume is 15-20 patients per day, with two clinicians scheduled per shift. Prescriptive authority is required for this assignment; no call responsibilities are associated with this position.
