About the Clinician's Workday

The urologist will provide inpatient urological coverage through 24-hour shifts, scheduled 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM, with approximately 7-10 days of coverage per month on an ongoing basis. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and the position is conducted entirely on-site. Clinicians will manage general urological cases as presented during each assigned coverage period. Board certification in Urology is required for consideration. The call ratio is approximately 1:4 to 1:6, with providers typically averaging 2-8 callback hours during call shifts. The position is 100% inpatient, with the potential for some additional outpatient procedures, and providers can expect to see 6-12 patients per day. Required skills include general urology, advanced endoscopic techniques, ureteroscopy, and laser certification, with ESWL procedures available on Tuesdays. The facility utilizes Epic EMR for documentation and offers strong clinical support, including two onsite ambulatory APRNs who assist with clinic coverage. There are no leadership or teaching responsibilities associated with this assignment.
