Locum Urology Assignment - Central Pennsylvania
Job Description
Facility seeking a Locum Urologist for full-time ongoing clinic coverage
--Monday-Friday, 8a-5p (8 hour)
--1 hour lunch
--No call
--Support Staff: Office/Clinic 4 MA's and 1 CSA 1 RN
--Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: full weeks ongoing
--Patient Population/Age: Over 18 with the exception of a emergency torsion that would present during call
--Department Description: We mix cysto/ stent procedures with office visits usually around 24-28 patients could be less unless there is an urgent need should not be more.
--EMR System: EPIC
--Scope- Yes - if that is part of their practice. Not required.
--16 operating rooms
--Supervisions of NP/Pas required, we will have new APP's
--Office equipment available: Cycstiscope and Towers - Injections
--Robotic surgery: yes
--Core procedures: Core procedures required
- Vasectomy
- Vasectomy reversal (Not a mandatory procedure)
- Cystoscopy (in OR)
- Prostate procedures
- Ureteroscopy (in OR)
- Penile pilcation
- Penile implants (Rare)
- Lithotripsy
- Circumcision - OB Manages for Children - Possibility on rare occasions while on call if OB would need support.
- Orchiopexy
--Required: BC/BE Urology, PA license or IMLC, DEA, 1 year minimum experience
