-- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Requirements
-- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Surgery
-- Active Illinois license
-- Active Illinois DEA/CSR
-- ACLS, BLS, PALS - AHA
-- Two professional references
-- Clean Malpractice/Background - highly preferred
Required Procedures / Skills
-- Wound and Hyperbaric Medicine training and experience
-- Assess and prescribe standard wound care treatments
-- Compression therapy
-- Wound vacs
-- HBO treatment oversight
-- Debridements; casts
-- Advanced tissue applications
-- I&D
-- Callous paring
-- Chemical cautery
-- Optional: Punch biopsies
Assignment Details
-- Practice Type: Outpatient Wound Care + Hyperbaric Medicine
-- Level II Trauma Center
-- Daily Case Load: 12-20 outpatient wound visits, 1-4 outpatient HBO treatments
-- Center has 8 exam rooms and HBO suite with 2 chambers
-- Support Staff: Highly Skills RNs, 1 APP (available Tues-Thurs)
-- Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days (can be escalated to meet start date)
-- EMR: EPIC
