Job Description
McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), a leading academic health center, invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE), non-tenure clinical Assistant/Associate Professor position in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Allergy and Immunology.
The selected candidate will contribute to the department’s mission to educate health science professionals, discover and translate advances in the biomedical and social sciences, and model the best practices in clinical care and public health through research, teaching, clinical service, administrative activities, and other service.
Position Key Accountabilities
- Participating in the inpatient and outpatient clinical care focusing on diagnosis and management of allergies, asthma, and immunodeficiency.
- Participating in the education of residents, and medical students.
- Supporting the growth and development of clinical and collaborative research.
Qualifications
Candidate should have an M.D. or equivalent degree, completed an approved Allergy and Immunology fellowship program, be eligible for licensure in the state of Texas and be board certified or board eligible in Allergy and Immunology. Experience is preferred but not required.
