Overview

Great Cardiac Anesthesiologist Position Available

American Anesthesiology of Florida is seeking a well-trained cardiac anesthesiologist for its Holy Cross Hospital group in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

  • Ideally, we prefer a call-taking physician who is able to perform basic TEE (hospital provides echo tech to assist with all cases)
  • MUST BE comfortable doing ALL routine cardiac cases (fellowship not required)
  • The group provides anesthesia services at both Holy Cross Hospital and Holy Cross Healthplex Ambulatory Center
  • In addition, we do orthopedic, general, urologic, spine and low-risk OB (1,000 deliveries annually)
  • There are NO pediatric, trauma or transplant responsibilities
  • Call is evenly distributed and in-house responsibility is relatively rare
  • Holy Cross employs a team model where physicians supervise CRNAs and AAs about 50% of the time
