Very rare opportunity! Private obesity medicine practice in Charlotte, NC seeks full-time Physician to become a partner in the practice and then take over ownership of well-established medical practice.

Your job will be: to celebrate, encourage, comfort, and prevent suffering. There is no better job than to share in people's joys, motivate them to overcome their struggles, ease their pains, and save them from future suffering.

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Greeting patients as they arrive with a smile and a warm greeting
• Encouraging patients, comforting them, and motivating them to overcome struggles
• Diagnosing and treating patients with obesity and its complications, following standards of care
• Dispensing medications

You will be joining a medical office staff who celebrate, encourage, comfort, and prevent suffering. (There are very few medical specialties where celebrating with patients is typical.) When people begin exercising and eating healthy, they lose weight, feel more energy, fit in their clothes better, become more vibrant, develop increased confidence, and reverse chronic disease processes. Many people see their chronic medical problems melt away: diabetes, hypertension, knee pain, IBS can go into complete remission. Often, the changes they experience in their life extend far beyond health, and they examine themselves in-depth, renewing their passions in life, strengthening their family ties, becoming more productive at work, and growing spiritually. It's an amazing feeling to know that you are helping someone with their struggles and triumphs during their own personal journey. The job of everyone at our medical office is to contribute to their success and make everyone feel as welcome as possible.

Required:

• Friendly, upbeat personality
• Physician licensure (or eligibility for licensure) to practice in the State of North Carolina
• DEA licensure
• Electronic medical records experience
• Obesity medicine background required. (No previous practice experience is necessary. However, demonstration that you've sought education/training in obesity medicine is necessary.)

Schedule:

Mon/Wed/Thurs 7:30am-5pm, Tues 7:30am-7pm, Fri 7:30am-1pm. Mon-Thurs: 1 hour lunch. Weekends and holidays off. No call.

Compensation: Base salary of $100,000 plus partner/shareholder distributions (typically ranging from $250,000-$350,000 yearly)
