Western PA - Interventional Cardiology

Cardiology - Experienced Interventional Cardiologist to join 2 noninvasive in existing hospital-employed practice (1 in 3 on-call); replacing a physician who relocated due to retirement plans. Busy outpatient and inpatient practice (consulting only) with opportunity to interpret ECGs, echos and nuclear studies. Well equipped and underutilized cath lab; no other Invasive Cardiologists or Interventional Radiologists. Full-time Endovascular Surgeon strongly desires clinical partnership. Established defibrillator program with visiting Cardiac Electrophysiologist. Needed to play a key role in the community hospital's efforts to start an interventional program without open heart surgery on site. Ten-bed multipurpose ICU and large telemetry unit. Educational loan forgiveness, signing bonus, and relocation expenses available.
