About the organization

Santa Clara Valley Healthcare is the second-largest County-owned health and hospital system in California and is committed to improving the health of the 1.9 million people of Santa Clara County. SCVH is comprised of three hospitals:  (Login for Information) (SCVMC - a 574-bed acute care facility), O’Connor Hospital (OCH - 358-bed acute care facility ), and St. Louise Regional Hospital (SLRH – 93 bed acute care facility); in addition SCVHHS includes a large primary care network comprised of eleven health centers throughout the County, several urgent care clinics, a broad-range of expanding specialty services, comprehensive dental services, a large behavioral health department, public health, EMS, and Valley Health Plan.

St. Louise Regional Hospital (SLRH) functions as our community hospital for the South County and stands as the only acute care hospital for both Gilroy and Morgan Hill.  This thriving community hospital is continually expanding, attracting an influx of newly hired doctors and nurses, along with dedicated community physicians.  Additionally, the newly upgraded facility at Valley Health Center in Morgan Hill offers Urgent Care, a complete diagnostic center, and specialty clinics.  Physicians here use the integrated electronic health record (Epic), which consolidates patient information across the system.
