Our private minor surgery clinic, situated in one of California's most coveted areas, La Jolla, is renowned for delivering exceptional healthcare services. We are looking for an Emergency Room Physician with surgery and/or procedure experience to join a multi-specialty medical group. As part of our expansion efforts, we are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Junior Associate to join our esteemed team.

Position Overview:

As a Junior Associate at our clinic, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality medical care to our patients. This position offers a unique opportunity for a skilled and motivated physician to thrive in a supportive and collaborative environment. We will train on vascular surgery (radio frequency ablations,ultrasound guided sclerotherapy) and offer valuable mentorship by a fellowship trained vascular surgeon with over 35 years of experience. The Junior Associate will work on a part-time basis that will turn into a full time position, with flexibility in scheduling to accommodate personal commitments.

Responsibilities:

• Perform outpatient surgical procedures, including the removal of non-cancerous moles, skin tags, and other dermatological lesions.

• The physician will perform outpatient vascular surgery procedures for varicose veins and spider veins (medical and cosmetic procedures)

• The physician will provide urgent care and concierge services

• Oversee patient consultations, assessments, and follow-up care.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management.

• Uphold the clinic's standards of excellence in medical care and patient service.

• Contribute to the clinic's growth and development initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.

• Board certification or eligibility in relevant specialty.

• Valid medical license to practice in California.

• A background in emergency medicine is preferred (our clinic offers urgent care services and concierge services)

• Strong clinical skills and proficiency in outpatient surgical procedures.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Commitment to delivering compassionate and patient-centered care.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
