Coverage includes:?
- Radiology and Teleradiology at night?
- Interventional Radiology (during the day)?
- Stroke Center (send out TPA and thrombectomy candidates)?
- Anesthesiology (during the day)?
- Ultrasound (during the day)?
- OB/Gyn??
- Hospitalist?
- ENT?
- Cardiology?
- Neurology (tele-neurology)?
- ICU (2 beds)
- Psychology (6 beds)
About the Program and Hours
- 25 Bed ED
- 24,000 annual ED visits
- 20% admission rate from the ED
- 12 hour Physician shifts (7a-7p and 7p-7a)
- 12 hour APP shifts (11a-11p)
Qualifications
- Active Connecticut license in the state or ability to attain unrestricted state license
- Candidate Must be BE/BC in EM or FM
- Active ATLS, ACLS, and PALS
