| Northern Arkansas- Gastroenterology Our ideal candidate is Board Certified or has completed a Fellowship in Gastroenterology. The candidate will possess exceptional clinical and interpersonal skills, as well as have the ability to work in a team environment. Our GI lab has five procedure rooms, each totally equipped for endoscopy procedures, including ERCP. First year income guarantee or employed position. Recruitment incentive package through the Medical Center. Currently 3 Gastroenterologists on staff; with the new physician call would be 1:4. Medical Center is a 268-bed tertiary care hospital serving a 14-county area encompassing a population of 275,000 in northern Arkansas and southern Missouri. The active medical staff consists of 100 physicians representing approximately 30 medical specialties. The Emergency Department was recently renovated, and has 22 beds all with state-of-the-art monitors and approximately 28,000 visits annually. Recent innovations include 3 Hyperbaric Chambers in the Medical Center Wound Healing Center, and Tele-psych services. Located in the majestic Ozark Mountains, the city is known for its beauty and small-town charm. One of the area’s numerous golf courses received a five-star rating from Golf Digest’s“Places to Play.” In addition to spectacular golfing, the Twin Lakes area is an outdoor enthusiast’s recreational haven.
