Local hospital seeks to add another inpatient specialist. Join a top-notch medical team of physicians and midlevel support. This is a hospital employed position. Work schedule consist of 7-days on with 7 days off, with double coverage. Shifts run from 7am-7pm. Candidates should have a strong background in internal medicine, emergency medicine, and especially skilled at treating health problems common among hospitalized patients. No ICU work required. There is 24/7 intensivist, cardiology and general surgery back up. With about 400 beds this acute care facility provides primary and secondary care, a 24-hour Emergency Trauma Center, a Pediatric Trauma Referral Center, a center for women’s health, cardiac care, cancer care, and a medical center for the care of children.
