Hospitalist Single Specialty Group job located in Mississippi

A single specialty group seeks another associate. You’ll join 8 other Hospitalists and an experienced support staff. Work schedule consists of 7 days on with 7 days off. Not required to stay in hospital once rounding is complete plus Nocturnists coverage night shift. Average 15 patients per day with midlevels to assist with rounding. There is 24/7 intensivist, cardiology and general surgery back up. ACLS certification required. Candidates must have a strong background in internal medicine, emergency medicine, and especially skilled at treating health problems common among hospitalized patients. Local hospital offers 24-hour ER, surgery services, MRI, Angiography, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, CT, x-rays, an excellent ICU and Psychiatric services. There are an endless variety of family-friendly places to explore and discover in the state capital, ranging from interactive museums and a planetarium to the Jackson Zoo and acres of gardens and parks. Compensation includes a base salary, WRVU incentives, benefits, vacation, relocation, retirement and may include a commencement bonus.
