Join 12 other Inpatient Specialists in a well-established program. This is a day shift only; nocturnist available for evening shifts. Work schedule consist of 7 days on with 7 days off. See an average of 17 patients per day with double coverage. Midlevel providers available to assist with patient care. They each carry a full load of "general admission” patients and take new admissions or consults that may come in during the day. There is 24/7 intensivist, cardiology and general surgery back up. Medical Center offers 24-hour Level II ER (w/60K annual visits), surgery services (including laser and Endoscopy equipment), MRI, Angiography, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, CT, x-rays, an excellent ICU and Psychiatric services. Situated in the Hub of North Carolina this area is a short driving distance to the Atlantic Ocean and cities like Wilmington and Fayetteville. Area offers residents many diverse recreational opportunities. Compensation includes a base salary, an attractive bonus structure, health benefits, CME, vacation, relocation, retirement, malpractice insurance and a may include a sign-on bonus.
