Job Description

Seeking board certified/board eligible Neonatologist to join Womenand#8217;s and Childrenand#8217;s service line at our regional referral center hospital located in beautiful Coeur dand#8217;Alene, Idaho. Full-time Physician is defined as working 7-8 shifts per month. A shift is defined as providing 24 hour in-house coverage, running a Level 3 NICU, 14-bed unit, caring for infants down to 28 weeks gestation. The neonatology program offers patients many services including developmental therapy, outpatient follow-up, lactation, nutrition, and ophthalmology evaluation for ROP. The NICU offers multiple respiratory modalities including HFOV, conventional ventilator, NIMV, and CPAP support. The NICU offers total body cooling, and access to multiple imaging and ultrasound services including pediatric echocardiography, EEG, MRI, etc. Unique, private room setting for families to room-in with their infant while optimizing a developmentally friendly intensive care environment EPIC EMR Competitive compensation package with salary plus potential incentives for productivity and quality Extra shifts may be available and compensated for those interested Robust benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, CME, sizable employer retirement contribution, and malpractice (with tail).
