Nurse Practitioner job located in Plainsboro, New Jersey

A private physician-owned inpatient medicine group in central New Jersey is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team of over 30 physicians and APPs. The schedule is 5 on 5 off, 7a-7p. This is a full-time permanent position with benefits starting day one. They prefer providers with at least 1 year of hospitalist NP/PA experience but will consider strong new graduates. A New Jersey license in hand or far along in the process is required.

The new APP should be comfortable working autonomously but will have support from a collaborating physician and inpatient subspecialty physicians within the hospital. The position entails admissions and attending floor calls. No ICU, procedures, codes, or RRT. This is a growth position with a group that values teamwork and work/life balance. They have 18 years of experience and many of their providers have been with the group for years.
