Family Medicine OR Occupational Medicine Physician Baltimore, MD
We are looking for a Physician to join our medical practice part time in the Baltimore, MD area. We are an integrated healthcare group that focuses on treating those with neuro-musculoskeletal injuries and chronic conditions. We are seeking a Family Medicine or Occupational Medicine physician to join our stellar group, to do intakes, follow-up visits, and make referrals for physical therapy, interventional pain, ortho, or chiropractic services. The most important thing is that the incoming physician feels comfortable working in a patient centric environment on personal injury cases. Experience with depositions would also be a plus, but we are willing to train. Ideally, we are seeking a physician with experience in orthopedics and/or pain management.

Job Duties:
- Patient care and management
- Patient evaluations- (physical exam, medical history, review pertinent medical records/imaging)
- Oversee the patient’s diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries
- Prescribe treatment care plans
- Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury
- Recommend tests to determine extent of injury and to determine appropriate treatment
- Referrals for services and therapies as medically necessary
- Documentation- timely and accurate
- Collaboration with colleagues and staff for comprehensive patient care
- Uphold the company’s mission to provide exceptional patient care and leads in a way that aligns with the company’s goals
Requirements:
- BCBE Occupational medicine or Family medicine physician
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland
- Favorable malpractice history
- Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
- DEA license
- Medicine – Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities. This includes symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventive health-care measures
- Customer and Personal Service – Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
Schedule:
- Part time
Salary:
- $100-$135 per hour
