About the Practice and their Mission:

New York Oncology Hematology (NYOH) is a large multi-specialty group in upstate New York with six cancer centers around New York State's Capital Region. We have various opportunities, including employment at large comprehensive cancer centers to small quaint rural offices. As part of our practice, we provide subspecialty oncology, hematology, stem cell, neuro-oncology, GYN oncology and mobile PET. We are a progressive group and one of the few non-academic sites accredited to perform CAR-T therapy in the United States. Although a private practice, we are the sole hematology/oncology care providers at Albany Medical Center, the largest tertiary care/ academic center in eastern upstate NY. As a part of our association, our providers have academic appointments and are proud teachers of medical students and residents. We have a robust research department with phase 1-3 trials (NRG access). Most importantly, our organization prides itself on our providers' exceptional quality and the care they have delivered to thousands of patients yearly.

We also offer women's imaging at our new state-of-the-art Akira Medical Imaging + Wellness (Akira) center, an independently branded service line of NYOH. Akira provides a full suite of medical imaging and wellness support services in a unique environment designed to take some of the stress out of doing the things needed to maintain one’s health. Its medical imaging services include mammography, pelvis and breast ultrasounds, breast biopsies and DEXA scans.

NYOH also offers access to a full suite of medical imaging and support services in an environment designed to take some of the stress out of doing the things needed to maintain one’s health, including:

  • Mammography: Introducing The Genius™ 3D Mammography™, an innovative technology that enhances accuracy and reduces unnecessary callbacks, providing peace of mind for our patients.
  • Ultrasound: Offering both breast and pelvic ultrasound exams as additional screening and diagnostic tools.
  • Breast Biopsies: Using advanced imaging technology to provide stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies for precise diagnosis.
