Seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Physiatrist to serve as Senior Medical Director of our Inpatient Rehab Care unit. 21 bed unit, all private rooms Serves patients age 18+ Average length of stay and#8211; 11 days Hours/Work Schedule - Unit hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00a and#8211; 4:30p Call schedule: evenings and 1:3 weekend coverage (shared with locum physicians) Staffing - 1 OT, 1 PT, 3 PTA, 3 COTA, 4 RN/LPN Majority of staff members have 15+ years experience Call Schedule/CERP (if applicable) Light call - can take call from home Rarely need to come in for emergent cases Case Load - Weekend volumes include rounding on 3-5 patients with 2-3 admits, includes internal and external admissions Equipment - Full gym, including car simulator Manage 6 telemetry patients at any given time Exceptional teamwork amongst staff Great functional gain and return to home rates for patients Package may include: Competitive Base salary Signing bonus $200,000 Medical School Loan Repayment Up to $25,000 Residency/Fellowship Stipend Moving expense - $10,000 paid to a moving company Excellent bonus incentives up to 30% of salary 33 PTO days + 5 additional days for CME $5000 CME allowance Low cost of living The Community: This location is situated in Scioto County in the southern part of the state.
