Responsibilities:

We are currently seeking a Chief of Pulmonary Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. The Chief of Pulmonary Medicine will lead the clinical and operational activities of the department, including clinical coverage, physician staffing, and nurse practitioners. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in departmental leadership, program development, strategic planning, change management, and clinical leadership.

  • Actively practice medicine within the department
  • Develop education initiatives for the practice
  • Mentor and train clinical staff
  • Lead Quality Improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO
  • Unrestricted PA medical license
  • Graduate from an ACGME Pediatric Residency
  • Board Certified in Pediatrics
  • Graduate from an ACGME Pediatric Pulmonary Fellowship
  • 5+ years clinical experience in a pediatric outpatient practice
  • 3 years' experience in practice leadership and change management
